Hiii! First of all, thank you for being here. I’m Karaline– a passionate human with a deep love for media, communications, arts, music, and, most importantly, people.

I come equipped with a background in digital and social media marketing, content creation, photography, videography, and creative direction.

Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, I can confidently say my roots have instilled in me a huge sense of warmth, friendliness, courtesy, and a genuine passion for connecting with others allowing me to embrace the beauty in the people, places, and stories all around me.

My journey has included collaborations with industry names, local newspapers, production teams, individual creators, fascinating businesses, agencies, and startups. I’ve had the opportunity to work across different corners of media. From building social strategies and producing visual content to writing, directing, and helping brands find their voice.

Along the way, I built Kaptured by Karaline, my own creative direction brand, as a space to bring all of those skills together. What started as a personal creative outlet has grown into an extension of how I see the world: visually, intentionally, and always with people at the center. Through Kaptured, I explore photography, videography, creative direction, and storytelling while continuing to build my own creative identity.

One of my favorite freelance opportunities from my personal brand was having the opportunity to write for the Dallas Observer, allowing me to step into journalism and explore the people, culture, and stories that make Dallas what it is. And now, I’m currently exploring a new startup of my own. It’s still taking shape, but I’m excited by the process of turning an idea into something real.

My time working closely with different accounts and collaborators has taught me the powerful impact of every project, partnership, interaction, and story. My time in media has gifted me invaluable experiences that I am forever grateful for, while constantly reminding me that there is always something new to learn, create, and chase.

At the end of the day, I’m just excited to be here; creating things, meeting people, telling stories, and seeing where the next idea takes me. The beauty is in the journey.
